Hey everybody, my personal apologies, for being away and not posting any new artwork or journal entries on DeviantArt in a while.  Got kind of scared and worried, when I started seeing people using other people's artwork for their own devious devices and to their own ends.

However, I got over it and now I'm back with a vengeance, lol.  So, you'll be seeing me start posting up more of the artwork, I've been working on, over the last 6 months.  It's quite a backlog, trust me, lol.
Ladies and Gentlemen, you need to take advantage of this opportunity to get great artwork from Brian Evinou, Shane Heron and the awesomest Adam Gorham ( [link] ). It's all for a great cause, so be sure to look into it, cause it is definitely worth it.....you won't be sorry, but you may be if you miss out on this opportunity.....
Hey everybody, just wanted to let you all know, that I created a new exclusive print of Captain America for an Australian company by the name of Comics2movies.

I'm sure you're probably wondering, what the heck the print looks like, and here it is, in all of its glory:

And if you want to see a larger view of it, by all means check it out here: [link]

So, if you want to get this 11"x17" print of Captain America, you'll have to order it through Comics2movies at:  [link] , cause I hear that they've got a limited supply in stock, and it's probably gonna go fast.  So, be sure not to miss out on this really cool and fun print, if I do say so myself, lol.
Hey everybody, we're still a couple of days away from my being able to reveal my pin up piece for Game Art HQ's Street Fighter's 25th Anniversary Tribute Project ( [link] ).

This project has about 176 artists working on various characters from all of the Street Fighter franchise, starting from the original Street Fighter, to the more recent Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition and everything in between.  And the great part is, there are artists from deviantart, Shoryuken, MFG /Mugenfighersguild, TRMK and Ga-HQ. who are all taking part, because we all love Street Fighter and the characters, they've created over the last 25 years.

Personally, I am involved in a special Challenge aspect of the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Tribute Project, where the challenge was to draw Ryu vs. Sagat.  The challenge aspect, comes from the fact that, another artist is going to draw their interpretation of Ryu vs. Sagat as well, and once they're both up, we're letting the fans vote for whichever pin up gets to stay, and the other one does not.  So, to say the least, I am nervous about my entry is to say the least, because the other artist I am competing against is fan4battle ( [link] ), and he is by no means a push over, and I'm gonna be for one heck of an interesting pin up duel, cause I think it'll bring out the best in both of us.

So, when the time comes, I'm gonna ask my fans on here to help vote for whichever pin up, featuring Ryu vs. Sagat, they enjoy the most, and if I win or lose, it was a lot of fun to draw and create such an iconic battle between 2 great characters.
I just wanted to wish everybody on DeviantArt, a happy new years.  I have to admit that 2011, has probably been one of the best, if not the very best year of my career, so far.  Even though I'm not working at the Big Two yet, it's ok to be honest, because I've been working for New Myth Comics and getting lots of projects done, and even more project offers coming my way.

Hopefully, things will keeping getting bigger and better in 2012.  See you all next year, Marvin.

Hey guys, I was recently at Stadium Comics, up in Brampton, Ontario, for a mini signing event at their comic book store and to film, an episode of their continuing weekly show, called Unboxing Wednesdays, which you can check out here:  [link]

Unboxing Wednesdays is a YouTube show, where the host, Kevin Hickey goes through the comic books that are available and for sale during this week's shipment and discusses them in some fashion.  This week's episode, being episode#54, where I was a special guest on, has me chiming in, every once in a while about some of the comic books.

So, be sure to check it out, cause this may be the only time, you'll be able to hear me in person, putting my foot in my mouth, based upon my opinions, lol.
Hey everybody, I know that the holiday season is fast approaching, and you're looking for that special and unique gift, for a friend or significant other.  So, why not get them a custom drawn one of a kind commission from me, or a special sketch done on the cover of a comic book.

Anybody who's been following, my work recently will notice that I am a big fan of SNK games, specifically the Fatal Fury series.

A few years back, me and a few friends batted around the idea of try and get the license to publish a Fatal Fury comic book, that would cover the story from Terry's final conflict with Geese, that lead to Geese's death, Terry taking Rock Howard into his care and eventually lead to Garou: Mark of the Wolves.

It would've been a lot of fun to do, and allowed us the freedom, to create new villains and challenges for Terry and company to encounter.  Sadly, that was back during SNK's bankruptcy, and we had no clue, who to get ahold of, in order to obtain those rights.  Maybe, one of these days in the future.

I gotta thank, :iconfighting-games-elite: for allowing me to scratch this itch from time to time, by doing these pin ups.
