Ok, I've been hassled by a few friends here on DeviantArt to put up the third panel from my Thor samples and here it is, lol.

Finally the mysterious silhouette from panel 2 [link] is revealed......and it's Balder, the brave.

I'll be honest, whenever I draw a head like this close up, especially from the back, drawing the hair always gives me some problems, as to how to make it look good and organic looking, as it blows in the wind. Thankfully this time around, it came out pretty good and I can't complain.

So enjoy and don't worry panel 4 is coming very soon, since I'm already on page two already of the Thor samples, lol.

This does look pretty good, but it could do without the movement lines. I think we can all tell he turned his head to look at Balder. Other than that, great as always.

I don't know what it is, about me and movement lines, lol. I guess it's an old school technique that I just can't let go of, lol.

hahaha, old habits are the hardest to break. But then again, it's up to you if you want to break 'em or not. Whatever works best for you dude, I only point out my view so do what you wish with that, haha.

Omg, it's kinda scary how long it took me to realize that these are indeed panels and not full pages. ;p

I don't see any of the problems you had with the hair, it looks great. It's cool how you included ALL of the tiny details on close-up Thor right down to the silver cloak-button nipple.

lol, thanks for the kind words Baka-Lee. I do the best I can, at always making my weaknesses into my strengths. Thankfully it worked out this time.

As for not realizing that this an actual panel and not just a pin up or a sketch, well that happens sometimes to the best of us, lol.
