Taken from Joe Kelly's script for Amazing Spiderman#606, page 6.

Alot of people tell me, that they have problems or don't like to draw backgrounds. As you can tell from the first panel on this page, I like drawing backgrounds and thank goodness for the internet and being able to get reference off of it. I remember the old days of only being able to use photo reference books for this kind of stuff, lol.

Not very often, you get a chance to do the old school finger lecture. Glad I was able to get that little visual image in there, just for the sake of doing it, lol.

Thanks alot for the kind words about the first panel. It was a lot of fun, to draw the buildings like that, to create that illusion of depth and height.

Hahahaha can't go wrong with the classics, lol. It seems, one of the things I'm known best for, are my backgrounds, lol. There are days, I wonder, if I'll ever be able to get away from my ruler and vanishing points, lol...

Love your backgrounds -- the one thing that sticks out at me though is the anatomy on Spidey in the upper right panel. His body is way too long and the pecs seem a bit odd for a male character. The other two panels are excellent.
