Hey everybody, I know the Iron Giant film came out a while ago, but this pin up was done for something called the Iron Giant Project, which you can find here: [link]

It's actually kind of funny, prior to doing this pin up, I had never personally seen the Iron Giant film. I've heard from a lot of fellow creators and artists, how great this film was and how underrated it was over the years.

So as part of my research, I went and bought the Special Edition dvd of the Iron Giant, watched it and loved it. It wasn't completely cliche in it's handling of the subject matter. It's like I always say, there are a lot of stories that we've heard many times, but it in how you tell the story that makes you unique and different from everybody else.

So here's my Iron Giant pin up I did, inspired by the scene of both the Iron Giant and Hogarth, as they talk about Superman and how the Iron Giant can choose to be who he wants to be. So me, being the biggest comic book fan, decides to do the piece based on that premise. Enjoy.

Hahahaha, that's a very good question, lol. Well, my theory is that it's not actually fabric, but it's actually one of those large tarps they use for circus tents that the Iron Giant is using, lol.....
